Alaskan Huskies are usually a cross of Nordic breeds, however racers have also introduced different types of hounds including Euro Hounds for their long legs and speed, which is needed for racing. Our Alaskans are a cross of our Nordic breeds, Alaskan Malamute, Siberian Husky & Inuit Sled Dogs. Each breed brings a different trait to the mixed breed. Alaskan Malamutes for their endurance and Siberian Huskies for their speed. Inuit Sled dogs have a combination of both and all have a strong desire to pull. Not to be mixed up with a Purebred Alaskan Malamutes or a Purebred Siberian Husky the Alaskan Husky is the choice of many musher's.

              Thanks to Abby, Sarah and the staff of the Hamilton SPCA for helping us in the rescue of these boys. They are a welcome addition to our sled dogs and we are pleased to have them join our kennel.

Thanks to Carmen, Shawn & The Alaskan Malamute Help League for assisting us in the rescue of these sweet pups. They came to us after a very long journey from the Artic Tundra. We are happy to have them join our family and look forward to introducing them to our many visitors. They won our hearts even before we met them.
